Texas Christian University
Human Performance Center
Fort Worth, Texas

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The TCU Human Performance Center project represents a pivotal development in TCU’s commitment to health, wellness, and athletic excellence. This project involves the construction of over 30,000 square feet of cutting-edge athletic facility
alongside the renovation and enhancement of roughly 20,000 square feet of existing spaces, creating a comprehensive hub for human performance research, athletic training and holistic wellness.
The HVAC systems utilized the campus chilled water and steam loops. A secondary chilled water loop provides for the new roof mounted air handling units, while steam heat exchangers generate heating hot water for the terminal units.
ACS is providing commissioning services for all new MEP systems and assisting the design and construction team with LEED level services, though the project will not be pursuing LEED accreditation.
